BACKGROUND
Mowgli's Eco-adventure Tours is a conservation oriented tour organization that seeks to promote eco-tourism in Nepal. It focuses on nature, rural and culture-based tourism. Highly experienced and passionate ornithologists, naturalists, environmentalists and conservationists comprise Mowgli's team. With 20 years experience in tourism, they collectively possess a vast knowledge of the ecological and cultural diversity of Nepal.
The Mowgli's Eco-adventure Tours focuses on conserving all of Nepal's abundant resources, from our environment to our thriving culture. We are very proud to be running this travel agency in Nepal, which helps preserve the country we love. 25 percent of its proceeds go towards the protection of endangered species, indigenous culture and the national environment conservation issues of Nepal.
The organization is very aware of the need for preserving the local culture and environment, while still promoting tourism in rural areas. Bringing conservation education to the local people is a key that we help to safeguard our bio-diversity for the long term. Mowgli's Eco-adventure Tours realizes that to make sustainable Nepalese tourism, it should protect the bio-diversity and indigenous culture. Therefore, we are working jointly with all aspects of local communities: schools, culture centers and environmental and agricultural organizations. Mowgli's Eco-adventure Tours gives priority to local products so as to empower locals. This gives communities an understanding of the importance of tourism in the local economy, helping to preserve the local culture and environment.
"Responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people and their culture"
