BACKGROUND
The Rhino Resort is situated in the buffer between the park and the neighboring village. The resort has been established to provide the utmost in services to visitors, both within and outside of the Park. It is located in the western part of the Park offers the best places for viewing Chitwan's animals and vibrant bird life. During the daytime, visitors can explore the park on elephant back or on foot. While at night, the Resort provides deluxe accommodations with modern facilities. Just below the resort, the Rapti River flows along the Park's border, offering visitors a very memorable boat ride with prospects of learning about the Park's aquatic habitat. The Rhino Resort also features a spacious natural herb garden that is the only place in Nepal to provide knowledge of medicinal herbs and sampling of their flavorful ness in food. As well, a variety of organically grown foods is served at the Resort. As its main theme is to maintain the ecological balance between park and visitors, the park's staff is very conscious of activities that produce air of noise pollution. The result is an atmosphere that immediately impresses visitors entering the resort area.
