BACKGROUND
UNDP/TRPAP is a pilot project of His Majesty's Government of Nepal, implemented by Ministry of Culture Tourism & Civil Aviation with technical financial support from UNDP, DFID and SNV Nepal. TRPAP works in 6 rural districts of Nepal, developing tourism products, human resources infrastructures and promotional tools. TRPAP's four guiding principles are pro-poor, pro-women, pro-environment and pro-rural community tourism development.
